Attorney General Jeff Sessions told CNN on Friday “I wasn’t criticizing the judge or the island” when he said he was “amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the president of the United States” from issuing a travel ban. He called Hawaii “a fabulous place” and added he “had a granddaughter born there.”
