Are you tech-savvy? Looking for an activity for Wednesday morning? How about a ride on TheBus?

The Department of Information Technology is hosting an event it’s calling “Geeks on DaBus,” an Amazing Race-style gathering to test new bus apps and promote the experience via social media.

“This is an opportunity for the public to tell us about their experience riding TheBus and evaluating our new applications,” Mayor Peter Carlisle said in a press release. “We plan to have fun but more importantly, we’ll get to see how well these applications track bus locations, estimated times of arrival, and route experience.”
