WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has strong words for President Donald Trump.

She called him a bitch.

On Wednesday, the Hawaii congresswoman blasted out a strongly worded tweet directed at the president that said “being Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.'”

Gabbard also reposted the tweet to her Instagram account no doubt to increase its reach.

The congresswoman’s comes one day after Trump pledged loyalty to the country and its crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, despite growing evidence he was behind the brutal murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded that the Saudi prince ordered the killing of Khashoggi over his critical commentary of the kingdom.

Gabbard, who is considering a run for president in 2020, has been an outspoken critic of the U.S.’s support of Saudi Arabia and its war in Yemen.

With the killing and attempted cover-up of Khashoggi’s killing, tensions have been mounting in Washington, particularly among lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Gabbard’s tweet is a signal she’s stepped up her criticism. The congresswoman’s public persona is typically well-groomed and careful. She avoids using incendiary or obscene language, particularly on Twitter.

A phone call to Gabbard’s Washington office Wednesday went unanswered.
