North Shore Homeowners Face Fines Of Nearly $1 Million For Fighting Erosion Illegally

As the Summer approaches, residents along the shore line at Sunset Beach on Oahu’s north shore are expecting a reprieve from the erosion that accompanies many winter swells. Some residents have installed their own barriers in efforts to hold back the ocean but those have that have decayed into pieces of themselves scattered along the otherwise pristine beaches.
