The charitable trust is selling the buildings that make up the iconic Waikiki mall but not the underlying land.
Dee Jay Mailer, CEO of Kamehameha Schools, said in a press release the sale would help diversify the trust’s endowment.

According to its website, Kamehameha Schools is Hawaii’s largest private landowner and owns more than 365,0000 acres across five Hawaii islands.
