New stadium? Not needed. Rail? Definitely needed.

Public sentiment seemed to have been we don't need one right now so how so much money get allocated? Who's approving this budget?

The state shouldve focused our taxpayer funds on this stadium project prior to the rail. At least the stadium would help generate revenue to bring back to the state. As of December, the rails estimated cost was 10 billions dollars. They knew the stadium would be deemed unsafe sooner or later but decided to focus on the worst money gouging project our state couldn’t afford in the first place and such an unnecessary venture. This is the perfect example of deja vu. Keep in mind that the planning of the rebuild for the Neal Blaisdell is still in the works. It’s such a shame with what’s going on in our state. We are losing residents faster than ever due to the cost of living and availability of affordable housing.
