There is a little cognitive dissonance this Thanksgiving considering that we have been woken to the fact that Thanksgiving is a colonialistic celebration of racial oppression and that it's bad for our health to gather with family and friends. It's a psychological set-up to drink more and to party like there's no tomorrow this Thanksgiving.
