Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is slamming President Barack Obama’s planned trip to Hawaii for the holidays.

He essentially calls the vacation one big golfing trip, saying Obama’s “idea of a hands on approach to the economy is getting a grip on his golf club.”

Why shouldn’t the president be able to go to his hometown with his family for the holidays? If it were Myrtle Beach or Texas, would he get such heat? We’re guessing not.

Just goes to show that despite the state’s best efforts, Hawaii still isn’t taken seriously.
