Who doesn’t love some shave ice after a day at the beach?
After spending hours at Pyramid Rock Beach in Kaneohe Bay, Obama hit up Island Snow — his favorite shave ice shop in Kailua. He stopped around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
A throng of about 60 people crowded the parking lot holding cell phones aloft, trying to snap a picture of the president, his family and friends. The president’s entourage took up no less than nine suburbans to get there, according to the White House.
Earlier this week, Obama was spotted wearing an Island Snow T-shirt while visiting Sea Life Park with daughters Malia and Sasha.
