They come courtesy the Hawaii Meth Project, “a large-scale prevention program aimed at reducing Meth use through public service messaging, public policy, and community outreach,” according to the project’s website.
Among those noticing the posters were Gov. Neil Abercrombie, who remarked to reporters on Tuesday (Jan. 17), “The pictures break your heart. Methamphetamine — it’s scary.”
