Each nominee received a $1,000 cash reward and commemorative plaque. The award’s recipient — selected by Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation board members and other education professionals — will be announced at the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation Dinner April 11.
That principal will receive a $10,000 award — plus $15,000 for a school project of his or her choice. Two semifinalists will also receive $2,000 each.
