From Big Island Now:
A delegation representing the Federated States of Micronesia will be visiting Kona on Friday and Hilo on Saturday to discuss immigration and other issues with FSM citizens and students.
The delegation from the FSM Consulate General of Hawaii Office will hold the Hilo meeting at 4 p.m. at UCB Room 127 at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
The purpose of the visit is to reach out to FSM citizens to inform them of developments with their home government and in the US, especially as they pertain to immigration.
Staff members will also be on hand to assist citizens who need to renew or replace FSM passports or get documents notarized. Passport applications and other forms are available at www.fsmembassydc.org. Read the full story.
