HONOLULU Magazine today named veteran journalist Robbie Dingeman as its editor. She replaces A. Kam Napier, who left several months ago.
Dingeman spent 14 years as a news reporter and staff writer at The Honolulu Advertiser, served as Hawaii stringer for Time‘s Los Angeles bureau and was a reporter for KHON.
Her reporting has earned awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, and she has co-authored the books Honolulu Homicide and Honolulu CSI.
Dingeman holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a minor in American Studies. She is also one of the driving forces behind the semi-annual Gridiron show.
