Starting Monday through Aug. 11, registered voters can visit any early walk-in voting location within their county and cast their vote early, says the state Office of Elections.

Something new this year: Qualified Hawaii residents who are not registered may go in-person to any early walk-in voting location within their county to register and vote. But you must be a U.S. citizen, a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years of age.

To check your voter registration status, view your sample ballot or for more information about the 2016 elections click here or call (808) 453-VOTE (8683).

Civil Beat also has its own Elections 2016 page. The primary is Aug. 13.
