Josh Green is a State Senator from the Big Island and has been a practicing physician in Hawaii for 17 years. He came to Hawaii in 2000 as a National Health Service Corps Scholar and worked in Kau until 2004. In 2009 he was named physician of the year by his colleagues statewide. He now balances his legislative responsibilities with shifts in the emergency department on Big Island year round.
