Join us for another pop-up newsroom on the Windward side.
The Civil Beat team will be hosting our latest pop-up newsroom this week on Wednesday in Kaneohe.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kualoa-Heeia Ecumenical Youth Project site in Kaneohe. The KEY Project Emergency Food Pantry is at 47-200 Waihee Road.
Editors, reporters and operations staff will be available to talk about the issues that are important to you and answer any questions you might have about Civil Beat.
We’re always grateful for people who help publicize our events, so please tell your friends and family to drop in.
The schedule for our pop-up newsrooms is updated regularly and we highlight the stories that come out of those events on our site.
On Friday we’ll go on the road to Maui for a pop-up at the public library in Kihei. Stay tuned for more details on that one.
This project is supported by the Hawaii Community Foundation.

What it means to support Civil Beat.
Supporting Civil Beat means you’re investing in a newsroom that can devote months to investigate corruption. It means we can cover vulnerable, overlooked communities because those stories matter. And, it means we serve you. And only you.
Donate today and help sustain the kind of journalism Hawaiʻi cannot afford to lose.
