4 schools remain closed.
The Hawaii Department of Education launched a support hotline Monday for Maui families and staff at King Kamehameha III Elementary, Princess Nahienaena Elementary, Lahaina Intermediate and Lahainaluna High.
The four Lahaina public school campuses remain closed and their phone lines are inoperable. The DOE encourages families and staff who can’t access the internet to call a HIDOE representative for information on schools, enrollment and other resources.
Those who need assistance can call (808) 727-6880, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
