Updated: Top brass at the Legislature have bolstered their reelection campaigns with money raised from lobbyists, labor unions and other groups while they make decisions on state policy.

Final language in the new law leaves an open question about whether private as well as public facilities are eligible for the funding.

The governor has put 30 bills on his intent to veto list. He’ll finalize the list by July 12.
