Former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle is leading a new group called the Women’s Prison Project, which aims to dramatically reform the way women in the state are funneled through the state’s criminal justice system.
Bills from the project are moving through the 2022 session of the Hawaii Legislature, and Gov. Lingle will join Chad Blair to talk about the legislation and why the project’s work is so critical.
This virtual event will be held on Crowdcast and Facebook Live.
