As controversy surrounding the Thirty Meter Telescope on Mauna Kea continues to grow, we talked with two of our reporters about the perspectives they were finding as they worked on the stories. Anita Hofschneider recently spent three days on Mauna Kea and the Big Island; Jessica Terrell produced an in-depth look at the business of telescopes and astronomy for the University of Hawaii.
