Hawaii state Rep. Matt LoPresti was taken to the emergency room at the Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center early Friday, he said.
LoPresti said he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance around 4:45 a.m. after feeling chest pains.
He told Civil Beat at 10:40 a.m. that he was back home and feeling better, and expects to return to work at the Capitol on Monday.
LoPresti represents District 41, which includes Ewa Villages, Ewa Beach, Ewa Gentry, Ocean Pointe and West Loch.
