Pod Squad: Telling Your Stories About Hawaii
This week, we talk about Connections, a new storytelling feature, with a local resident who has struggled to buy a home in Hawaii.
That’s the question deputy editor Eric Pape asked when we first rolled out “Connections,” a new Civil Beat feature that allows people to share their stories and opinions on issues in Hawaii. The first thread has focused on our high cost of living, an issue Eric has been researching. So we invited Keopulaulani Reelitz, one of the Connections’ first contributors, to talk about her story and her dream of owning her own home.
