Three candidates are running in the Aug. 8 primary election for the seat that covers Oʻahuʻs tourist hub of Waikīkī.
Democrat Adrian Tam, who has represented state House District 24 since 2020 is facing a Democratic opponent Bulla Eastman in the primary. Nonpartisan candidate Jonathan Clausen is also on the primary ballot.
