Anthony Quintano was the Engagement Editor for Honolulu Civil Beat. Anthony leverages the power of digital communications to get the community involved in discussing issues that matter. He brings extensive experience in using social media as a platform to extend the reach of broadcast and online news outlets, including the TODAY Show and NBC News. Anthony has been the recipient of both a Webby and Shorty award for his work on NBC News’ Education Nation and MSNBC’s Google+ Hangouts on Air series on marriage equality.

Anthony was also in charge of video operations at Civil Beat producing short-form video for social media and livestream productions for breaking news and events.

When Anthony is not helping build an audience for social media platforms, he’s enjoying his love for photography and contributing to his own personal brand on social media.
