What’s the Future of Kakaako? ThinkTech Hawaii Hosts Forum Downtown Today

ThinkTech Hawaii is hosting a forum on Kakaako development today from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the downtown YWCA.

The nonprofit describes the event as “a study of where we are, the issues involved, the solutions forthcoming and, all that considered, the live-work-play-learn future of the jewel in our city’s crown.”

Featured speakers will include:

Tom Apple – UH Manoa Chancellor
George Atta – Dept. of Planning & Permitting
Tony Ching – HCDA
Joe Ferraro – Ferraro and Choi, Architects
Mike Formby – Director of Transportation Services
