Hillary For Hawaii Office Opens

Former local Democratic Party leaders will talk about supporting Secretary Clinton in the March 26 Hawaii presidential caucus.

Former U.S. Sen.Daniel Akaka and former Hawaii Governors George Ariyoshi, John Waihee and Ben Cayetano will speak this Sunday about the “importance of caucusing for Hillary on March 26th.”

The occasion is the opening of a Hillary for Hawaii campaign office at 9 a.m. at 45 N. King Street, Suite 501.

The former Democratic Party leaders will join local volunteers and supporters “for a conversation on Hillary Clinton’s record of breaking down barriers that hold people back and her plan to deliver real results for Hawaii families as President,” says a press release.

The March 26 caucus process will also be addressed.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is also competing in the caucus.

Republicans will caucus March 8.
