We are a lot smaller than Illinois, Florida and Ohio, which are on the ballot Tuesday.
But members of Hillary for Hawaii are gearing up for the Democratic presidential preference poll set for March 26.
Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and New York senator, faces Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Preparations by Clinton’s supporters locally include training for election day, the endorsement of Planned Parenthood Votes Northwest and Hawaii and release of a plan “to break down the barriers that hold people back and advance economic opportunity in the Aloha State,” according to press releases.
And then there is this Hawaii-themed logo (that’s Waipio Valley, right?):

Clinton also released a statement in support of Native Hawaiians:
“I support the Native Hawaiian community’s ongoing work toward self-determination and nationhood, and their recent adoption of a constitution. I commend President Obama’s leadership in working with Native Hawaiians on the opportunity to establish a government-to-government relationship with the United States. As President, I will work to break down all of the barriers that hold people back and create ladders of opportunity to help everyone achieve their full potential.”
