Vanessa Distajo is an educator, environmentalist and community organizer, whose ‘ohana has lived in Mānoa for 150 years. She is the founder and president of the local nonprofit ‘Ehiku Hanauna. In addition, Distajo has served as a director and vice president of both Mānoa Outdoor Circle and Mālama Mānoa.
