I'm not sure what the population wants that the Democratic legislature and Biden have not accomplished. Inflation is not a result of the democrats' or Biden's policies. And it is lessening as I write. It is the unfortunate result of the economy bouncing back from COVID. The same or worse would be the result under republican control. If the republicans control the senate and/or the presidency in 2024 the public will find, for example, Social Security drastically cut, school lunches curtailed or ended, Medicare and Medicaid deflated and limited, social restrictions on minorities, women and children, installation religion in government and book and the arts banning as depicted in Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.The republicans have no interest in restoring the taxes on the "rich" ($4OOK +) and large corporations. Instead they want the poor and middle class to shoulder their exorbitant spending.

"Polls shows the president's approval rating at 36%, the lowest of any first-term president a year and a half away from the next election"I'm sure the Biden administration spokespersons will inform the public that the low approval rating is "temporary" just like inflation.

If Biden is the best the Democratic party can do, sourcing from nearly half the population of the country, then both the party and the nation are in deep trouble.
