Two candidates are in the race for East Honolulu seat.

The incumbent representative Tina Grandinetti will face Republican opponent David Asing in the Nov. 3 general election. Both are running unopposed in the primary.

Grandinetti, a Democrat, has represented State House District 20 which includes Lēʻahi, Kāhala, Waiʻalae, Kaimukī and Kapahulu since 2024.
